Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: August 1, 2026 · aup:v0.1-draft
This Acceptable Use Policy (the “AUP”) applies to all use of the SICKR Services provided by SICKR, Inc., a Delaware corporation, including the website, Sickr Terminal, the CLI, governed workflows, live monitoring, and replay. It is part of, and incorporated into, our Terms of Service. Violating the AUP is a violation of the Terms. If you are unsure whether something is allowed, use the support contact form before you do it.
1.Overview
You are responsible for everything you and your authorized users and agents do with the Services. The goal of this policy is simple: use SICKR to do legitimate, authorized work, and don’t use it to harm people, systems, or rights.
2.Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Services to:
- conduct or facilitate illegal activity, or create, store, or distribute material that sexually exploits or endangers minors (which we report to authorities);
- develop, distribute, or operate malware, ransomware, spyware, credential-stealers, phishing, or spam;
- gain or attempt unauthorized access to any system, account, or data, or exfiltrate secrets, credentials, or data you are not authorized to access;
- bypass, disable, or circumvent authentication, rate limits, redaction, audit logging, or other security or governance controls;
- harass, threaten, defame, or impersonate any person, or misrepresent affiliation with SICKR;
- falsify timestamps, audit-log entries, evidence, or other records the Services produce; or
- interfere with or place a disproportionate load on the Services or a third-party service, including via duplicate accounts created to evade limits.
3.AI-Agent and Automation Boundaries
- Do not configure agents to take production-critical or irreversible actions autonomously without authorization and appropriate safeguards (approvals, scope limits, and review).
- Do not use steering or automation to inject instructions into an agent, service, or pipeline you are not authorized to drive, or to act on behalf of another user without permission.
- Do not present AI-generated output as human-authored where doing so is deceptive, or rely on agent output for high-stakes decisions without appropriate human review.
4.Code, Repository, and Infrastructure Safety
- Only connect repositories, systems, credentials, and data you have the rights to connect and to process.
- Do not create or deploy code intended to cause harm, or run destructive actions against systems without authorization.
- Do not use the Services to run workloads unrelated to their purpose (for example, cryptocurrency mining).
5.Security Testing and Abuse
We welcome good-faith security research conducted under our responsible-disclosure guidance. Do not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services without authorization, and do not test third-party infrastructure (such as GitHub or Stripe) or anything outside *.sickr.ai without that party’s authorization. Report issues through the security disclosure form.
6.Sensitive and Regulated Data
Do not submit highly sensitive or regulated data — for example protected health information, payment card data, government identifiers, or special-category personal data — without an appropriate written agreement and the controls that data requires. Do not process anyone’s personal data without a lawful basis and necessary consent, and do not paste credentials or secrets into agent prompts; redaction is a safety net, not a license to be careless.
7.Third-Party Rights
- Do not use the Services to surveil or monitor people without their consent and a lawful basis, or to build spyware or covert tracking.
- Do not scrape, harvest, or extract content from a third-party service in violation of that service’s terms, and route automated access through supported APIs where required.
- Honor confidentiality agreements and others’ intellectual-property and privacy rights, and do not publish another person’s unredacted secrets or personal information through a share link.
- Do not violate the terms of third-party services or AI/model providers you connect.
8.Enforcement
If we believe you have violated this AUP, we may — in our discretion and depending on severity — notify you, throttle or limit your use, suspend or terminate access, or refer matters to law enforcement. Where reasonable, we will give notice and a chance to cure; we may act immediately for illegal content, serious security risk, or court-ordered action. Suspension does not pause your subscription.
9.Reporting Violations
To report a violation or an abusive share link, use the legal contact form or, for security-related abuse, the security disclosure form, with the identifier, a short description, and your contact information. We treat reporter identity as confidential where practical.
